Why did Alicia keys give up make up

              

                
              

            Alicia augello cook is professionally  known as Alicia keys. Alicia keys is a charismatic, bold yet powerful and radiant women. When she decided to give up make up it created many thoughts in everyone's mind.
When she arrived at the MTV video music awards In August 2016 wearing no makeup!? made all the heads turn at her.
What could be the reason behind this bold decision? 

 

The real reason was the industry had turned her in to a chameleon.
In a essay for Lena Dunham's lenny letter, keys discussed how many years in the Industry has altered her perception of beauty and perfection.

"I remember when I first started to be in the public eye., Oh my god!  Everyone had something to say"

 She wrote "every time I left the house, I would be worried if I didn't put on make up"           With all those thoughts  and questions a photoshoot had come up  after meeting her photographer, Paola kaduki,for her new album In common. 

   

           Paola kaduki wanted the photos to come natural because Alicia was at the photoshoot straight from the gym, with a baseball hat and a scarf. Paola wanted to shoot as she arrived because she wanted to photos to come out more real and raw. So that it would reflect the realness and rawness of the music in her album.

                After all., she didn't wanted to Influence anyone. Because everybody does not carry the same thoughts or born in the same way. So she wrote " Y'all me choosing to be makeup free doesn't mean I'm anti- makeup. Do you!? "

             Over all I really love her she is the most simple yet dynamic women with the most gifted qualities.
